Product development

From a product idea to a working first release.

Build the product your customers need, with a clear scope and technical direction. We help founders turn early ideas into usable software and extend products that are already in market.

For founders building an MVP, launching a new product, or adding to an existing team.

01 / Product priorities

Planning your product

A useful first release starts with the right priorities.

Decide what belongs in the first release

Separate the essential customer experience from features that can wait. Keep the first build focused on the questions you need to answer.

Turn a prototype into a product

Work through reliability, access, integrations, and the details that a prototype may leave unresolved.

Add the engineering capacity you need

Work with your existing team or agree on a focused delivery engagement with clear responsibilities.

02 / From scope to launch

How we work with startups

Agree on the scope, review the work, and prepare for the next stage.

Discovery & Scope

Understand the priorities, users, and existing systems. Agree on a proposal for ongoing development or a defined project, with scope, fees, and a delivery plan before work starts.

Build & Iterate

Build in reviewable steps, with demos and direct communication. Use feedback to make product decisions while there is still room to adapt.

Ship to Production

Test the core journeys, review security and performance, and prepare the product for its intended production environment.

Support & Grow

30-day warranty included. After that, optional retainer for continued development as you scale and your needs evolve.

03 / Ways to work together

Product development services

MVP & validation

Create a focused first version to put in front of customers or support investment conversations.

Pre-seed or raising

Core Product Build

Develop the core product when you have a clear direction and need engineering capacity to deliver it.

Seed to Series A

Feature Acceleration

You have a team but need extra capacity for a specific feature, integration, or technical challenge.

Any stage

Technical Rescue

Previous dev work isn't holding up. You need someone to fix, stabilize, or rebuild what's broken.

Any stage

04 / Handover and maintenance

Maintaining your product after launch

A useful product needs more than an initial launch. Make the code, decisions, and next steps understandable to the people taking it forward.

Room to adapt

Use a structure that can accommodate what you learn from customers, without assuming every future feature in advance.

Clear technical decisions

Document important choices and trade-offs so your team can understand and maintain the product.

A practical handover

Include documentation and knowledge transfer in the delivery plan, with optional ongoing development support.

FAQs

Product development questions

We're pre-funding. Can you help?

We can discuss a smaller, fixed-scope MVP engagement. The right starting point depends on what you need to learn, the budget available, and the work needed to test the idea.

How fast can you actually ship?

Timing depends on the scope, integrations, and current state of the product. We establish a delivery plan during discovery and review the impact of changes before taking on additional work.

What if requirements change mid-project?

For ongoing development, we can reorder the upcoming work and explain the effect on delivery dates. For a defined project, we agree on any change to scope, price, or timing before doing the extra work. Changes that require a different delivery commitment are agreed with you first.

Do you work with technical founders?

Yes. We can work alongside your existing devs, plug into your stack, or operate independently. We adapt to your team structure, not the other way around.

What about IP and security?

You own the deliverables agreed in the engagement. We discuss confidentiality, security requirements, infrastructure, and any limits on AI-tool use before development. Applicable data protection requirements need to be assessed for the project.

What makes you different from other agencies?

Our approach combines product planning, engineering, and reviewable delivery. The aim is to make the scope, decisions, and progress clear throughout the engagement.
