FAQs

What does ongoing development include?

The monthly engagement covers the agreed product planning, technical direction, design, development, integrations, testing, and releases. You have a shared delivery plan and weekly progress reviews. We set the delivery commitment and priorities in the proposal; the fee covers that commitment rather than every request at once. Hosting, paid tools, and other third-party costs are separate.

Does one month cover a complete product?

It depends on the scope and the current state of the software. A substantial product or integration can take several months. Before starting, we agree on the first delivery priorities, dependencies, and an initial timeline. Ongoing development is a way to keep improving the product across successive months.

Who will I work with?

Dimo is your direct contact for planning, technical decisions, and delivery. You discuss the work with the person responsible for building it. If your project needs additional specialist involvement, we agree on that scope and cost with you first.

Can you take over our existing software?

Yes. We first review the software, its integrations, and the problems you are experiencing. If an in-depth assessment is needed, we agree on its scope and fee separately. The findings help us decide what to retain, repair, or rebuild before committing to the development work.

What happens if our priorities change?

For ongoing development, we can reorder the upcoming work and explain the effect on delivery dates. For a defined project, we agree on any change to scope, price, or timing before doing the extra work. Changes that require a different delivery commitment are agreed with you first.

How do we get started, and what are we committing to?

Start with a free 30-minute call or send a project enquiry. We discuss what you need, your budget, and the current software. You then receive a proposal covering the scope, delivery plan, fee, payment schedule, and start date. For ongoing work, it also sets the initial term and notice period. Work starts after the agreement and initial payment; an introductory call carries no commitment.

What happens to the software and data after delivery?

You own the deliverables agreed in the engagement, with documentation and handover included in the scope. Defined projects include a 30-day warranty for bugs in the agreed deliverables; further development and support can continue under an ongoing engagement. We agree on confidentiality, access, and any limits on AI-tool use before development starts.
